Project: Dekalb County Storm Water Inventory
Client: ARCADIS
Location: Dekalb County, Georgia
Objective: To create a fully attributed inventory of the storm water structures and pipes in 34 sub-basins within Dekalb County, Georgia.
Dekalb County is required to undertake appropriate and necessary steps in order to comply with the mandates of the Metro North Georgia Water Planning District (MNGWPD) standards and National Pollution Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) permits. Among the pro-active steps being pursued by Dekalb County and undertaken by ARCADIS as the prime contractor, is the identification, location and creation of fully attributed data for storm water structure inventory and pipes.
Since 2007, MME has performed as a subcontractor to ARCADIS in the delivery of completed data sets to the satisfaction of the client, thereby facilitating the client’s storm water permit compliance and promoting improved asset management.
